Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2007/2008

The 2007/2008 edition of the Tahitian Pearl Trophy published on July 14th the list of finalists of the Brazilian phase, after a week of evaluation of the 202 enrolled projects. The judgment criteria take into account not only technical skills, creativity and beauty of the entries by theme, but also the finished piece of jewelry in light of its gems, pearls and details.

Sancha Livia Resende designed and Manoel Bernardes executed the string of pearls “Valentina”, which was classified as first in its category, making it eligible for the final international contest in 2008.

Manoel Bernardes also developed two other finalist pieces: a ring “M U”, by designer CARLA ABRAS and the string of pearls “NIX” by designers Junea Viana and Guilherme Canabrava.
